MY LIFE WITH YOU:
GENEALOGICAL STUDIES
"In the yard of a house in a neighborhood of a city in the interior of Minas, a young author buries and digs up ancient bones. She plants, harvests, turns the earth, talks to plants, performs alchemy in the period of a lunar cycle. But she also washes, irons, cooks and takes care of her ninety-year-old grandmother. The year is 2020, and 64 years separate the birth of the matriarch of this Minas Gerais family and her granddaughter, our narrator. "

Two writings to return
to the backlands
My paths are open: diary-tales from my first Caatinga Backlands Season and My life with Tê: Genealogical Studies are published thanks to a lightning crowdfunding campaign. Two Writings to Return to the Backlands was open between November and December 2020 by Benfeitoria. We had 158 benefactors over 36 days! A beautiful harvest to behold. Launching myself in a campaign is expressing myself as a Woman Who Travels and Writes and stepping out of my comfort zone to expose myself and nurture relationships. I sincerely and deeply thank all the beings who support me along the way.
